Lin Pei Fen was a student of CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School, Hwa Chong Junior College, and graduated with a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Honors) from Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University.

 

Her interests include travel, food, traveling for food, pets, reading (mostly fiction or materials on travel and food and pets), music (currently into Stacey Kent, Amy Winehouse and Estelle; all-time favourites include Mayday, Stefanie Sun and 90s’ British/American pop), movies and baking.

 

She is open to trying anything and everything (legal) while alive and able. She is a supporter of English football club Manchester United since the days of Eric Cantona and enjoys watching soccer in the company of close friends and family, either at home or out, preferably with some snacks and beer.

 

Two inspiring phrases that she strives to live by: “Carpe Diem” (Latin phrase meaning seize the day) and “It’s nice to be important, but more important to be nice.”
